Malham Agricultural Show - 23rd August 2025

Saturday 23th August is this year’s Malham Agricultural Show.  As usual, there will be a Branch convoy run to the showground, the details for which are below.  This year we have had to provide a Risk Assessment (attached) for our exhibit at the Show.  There is not much to it (given that it is a static display) but please note:-

 ·        Camping Stoves and BBQ’s are not allowed on the show field due to National Park guidelines and are classed as a Fire Risk.

·         No refuelling to take place on the showground.  Apply the handbrake and leave the vehicle in gear.

·         Be very aware of members of the public when entering and leaving the site and keep your speed to a maximum of 5mph.

·         Keep chairs, tables, umbrellas etc. behind the cars rather than in the public thoroughfare.

We will meet at the McDonald's on the A59 near Clitheroe (the same place we meet for the Bolton and Embsay Steam Railway on Good Friday), the address is:-

We will meet there and be ready to leave at 9.00am and that should get us to the showground at Malham in time for the opening of the show at 10.00am.
